Step 1: pick the right platform. iOS for iPhone and iPad, Android for the rest. The platform's app is published on the App Store for iOS and on Google Play for Android. The reader picks the platform that matches the device.
Step 2: search the store. The reader searches the store for the platform's published developer name. The desk lists the developer name on the app page. A search that returns multiple results is a flag; the reader checks the developer name and the app description against the platform's published materials.
Step 3: install the app. The reader taps "Get" or "Install". The store handles the download and the install. The reader waits for the install to complete before opening the app.
Step 4: open the app and sign in. The first launch shows the platform's welcome screen. The reader signs in with the platform-issued credentials, biometric, or email. The first-launch sign-in flow should match the desk's review.
Step 5: turn on the responsible-play tools. The settings are in the account menu. The reader sets the session timer, the deposit cap, the loss cap, and (if desired) the self-exclusion. The settings are free, on the platform, and reachable in under five minutes.
The reader does not install the app on a shared device. A shared device is a privacy risk; a real-money session is a personal activity. The desk recommends installing the app on a personal device with biometric lock enabled.
The reader does not sideload. A sideloaded APK is not part of the platform's official distribution. The platform's update channel, KYC flow and responsible-play tools all depend on the official store distribution. The desk treats sideloading as a defect the reader should walk away from.
